My Journey

A Pacific Northwest native, with roots spanning across west Africa and Turtle Island. A first generation somatic healer re-membering and practicing forms of yoga to restore self-healing wisdom. A lifelong learner and trainee of various indigenous somatic practices.

Teaching weaves together traditional earth wisdom with contemporary but personalized applications of trauma-informed practices. Healing magnifies when we remember our inherent connection to the land and listen to the intelligence of our bodies.

When I'm not guiding yogic practices, you'll find me designing courses, hiking, foraging for medicinal plants, meditating, or learning alongside elders.

Community Love

"Friendly, thoughtful, good instructor, good set of poses and flow in the yoga part, provided helpful guidance without being pushy or in our space."

- Pauline.-Flow and Farm Brunch Harvest Retreat

"It was very clear that there was a lot of consideration and intent that went into each activity. Thank you Kim for your hard work and for sharing your time, energy, and love with the community! ."

- Katt.- Flow and Farm Brunch Harvest Retreat

"Kimberly is a wonderful instructor, sincere, passionate, and her energy is contagious. She brings both mindfulness and playfulness into the practice, which keeps it engaging. As a yoga beginner, I enjoyed it a lot, though sometimes my attention span, thanks to ADHD, wandered with so many beautiful things around the farm. A slightly shorter session or breaking it into sections could be helpful."

- Young.- Flow and Farm Brunch Harvest Retreat

"Kim provided easy to follow instructions and spoke slowly and softly. I am curious what it would look like if Kim was positioned in the center of the class so that everyone can see and follow the poses better.."

- Marizel.- Flow and Farm Brunch Harvest Retreat

"Doing yoga under the sun, surrounded by flowers, greens, cows and goats was a wonderful experience. It made me take time to seep into the life i’d like to live or spend more time in nature."
